D3P0 User Submitted Sponsor Reads!
HEY WORLD!
The fine Mr. Michael Aranda and I have been chit chatting away as to what we can do to make Dan 3.0 better and one idea we've had that is immediately implementable is to let you guys record the audio for the beginning-of-the-episode short sponsor reads. Like, instead of me saying "This episode of Dan 3.0 is brought to you by [insert sponsor here]", one of YOU could do it.
H'OKAY! SO! Here's how we're gonna do this. If you'd like to do a sponsor read for d3p0 for this week...
1) Call this number: 1 (402) 218-1023
2) Press whatever buttons you need to to leave a message
3) Record one of the following as a message:
"This is [your name] from [your location] and this Episode of Dan 3.0 is brought to you by Gamefly. Go to www.gamefly.com/POGOBAT for your free trial membership."
OR
"This is [your name] from [your location] and this Episode of Dan 3.0 is brought to you by Netflix. Go to www.netflix.com/POGOBAT for your free trial membership."
OR
"This is [your name] from [your location] and this Episode of Dan 3.0 is brought to you by GoDaddy."

Just recorded all three of these! This was a great idea! I do agree wth wtfpantera that video responses should be accepted so that internnational callers don't get huge phone bills!

I live in the UK and i'd really like it if there was some way we could do this over the internet (for free ;) its just much easier and more people could submit themselves.

I´m from Protugal and I eally wanted to do one intro for d3p0... but a call is really expensive... couldn't it be a video or an e-mail?

tis an awesome idea, however, what about the excessive cost that your viewers from different countries would have to pay for this if they wanted to take part? i mean, i'm from Australia and international calls are a seriously expensive thing, is there any way that you'd be able to have an alternative way of doing this through skype or something like that?

Damn. You should do Youtube re: videos and just use the audio so that people internationally can submit. It seems to be in high demand and also it would make the intro more global :)
